Tbh I don’t think I’d see a problem if it was a bird

A female fan, with her husband or boyfriend, entered turnstile H right in front of us today with a Man U shirt clearly visible below her jean jacket. Walked straight past all of the stewards and not a word said.

This is hilarious, who’d associate cricket with hoolganism.

Is it just me or is one of them dressed as gadaffi?

When one of the goals went in the camera panned to some fans celebrating.. with some fat prick juat sat there whilst everyone else was celebrating. Somehow made it funnier

Re: Away Supporters in the home end.
There was a bloke and his (I'd guess eleven or twelve year old) boy sitting behind us in 140 today. Didn't really notice that they might be ManYoo supporters until Cresswell's goal went in. Turned and saw them sitting there looking like the collective jam had been siphoned from their collective donuts. And they left pretty sharpish after it had been noticed and commented on by our lot. But fair play to them, they didn't wear colours and kept quiet. Not that they had all that much to shout about.

Don't wear RED tomorrow else you'll be sent packing

Open your RED with with stripes jacket please Sir,

More bollocks they'll be mancs or should I say Man Utd supporters everywhere

Need a neutral London tourists area for those that fancy a game whilst on holiday

This will be the only game some of them will attend so they wont be bothered about any hot air blown their way.

Good news for East Stand Pat then, might make some more ‘friends’.

Re: Away Supporters in the home end.
There will be Man U fans there tomorrow wearing West Ham jackets who have been given free tickets by the club because they’re waving flags at half time. They won’t be quiet about who they support. Our club is so lacking in a support base in Newham that they can’t even find enough West Ham kids to give free tickets too.

Re: Away Supporters in the home end.
There can be trouble at cricket but not for a while.

I wouldn't mind betting that with the quality of our stewards a West Ham fan wearing a red top will not be allowed in tomorrow as they take him for a Man U fan.

I’ve seen scraps at the cricket. Can remember the bar being shut from 12pm one Sunday league game at Essex because of a fracas. Worst day at the cricket ever.

Is it?

4 teams at Edgbaston today. Fans on the piss all day and there will be no trouble.

Meanwhile you have to endure various stages of undress just to get in and watch a game of football.
No away fan with a brain in his head is going to sit in the home end in his teams shirt and if its a kid so what?

Re: Away Supporters in the home end.
Well, they can’t strip search or interrogate everyone coming into the stadium to try and weed out away fans.

We can’t moan about away fans in colours in the home end and then also moan for them asking the stewards to be more thorough in checking.

However, I fully expect the stewards won’t bother anyway...

Take your coats off for searches.
Take your hats off for searches.
Leave your coat open so that they can check what you are wearing.
this is going beyond a fucking joke.

What about the away fan wearing club appropriate socks and pants?

Just stumbled across this on the WHU site.
C&P

As you head into the turnstiles this weekend, stewards may ask for you to open coats or jackets. This is to ensure no supporters wearing visiting colours are in the home end, and we'd ask you have jackets open before heading into the ground to make this a quick and easy process.

So \\away fans all wear colours now?? My life...

They cant sort staff out to serve pints, let alone spot away fans getting into the home end. Shambles.

Re: Away Supporters in the home end.
Couple of years back a few Newcastle supporters were in the same row as me celebrated a goal and got jumped and thumped by some west ham supporters, stewards moved them out for their own safety.
When i posted it up got the same response ignore it, it's not a problem. I don't know how big the problem is now, but in my opinion needs sorting somebody could have got hurt and if your emotions run away with you, and you do something you could end up being banned. So i think HU should continue with this and if kids are around they really don't want to be around this

Do you think perhaps you're taking this all a tad too seriously?

It's a football match for Christ sake.
